Being casual

Ahh...the casual look. A pair of jeans, a t-shirt, some shoes or boots and perhaps a jacket. It's a look that a lot of guys in Second Life use. Im my opinion the casual look just got even better. I was at TMD - The Mens Department awhile back, where Cold Ash had a small display of one or perhaps two of their outfits. A quick visit to their main store, and I was sold on the out fit below. All 3 items are of course mesh and were purchased separately.

The jacket is the Ryder. It can be used with or without the T-shirt, and in the including HUD you will find 6 great leather textures in different colors for the jacket, and 6 muted colors for the T-shirt making it easy to find a good look.

The jeans are called Ocelot, a nice straight fit, very worn looking pair (but not ripped),. The HUD gives the choice of 6 tones from light blue to black
Last but not least to complete the look, I chose the Jericho desert boots. It's a short boot, and goes perfect with the jeans and other long pants. Again there is an option for picking a color to go with the rest of the outfit, this time 5 different tones ranging from Copper (light brownish) to Black.

Calas Galadhon's WHITE CHRISTMAS

What I love best about Christmas in SL is the snow capped mountains and the soft fluffy snow flakes falling from the sky as I walked. Many sims are created with a winter theme but some are done with much realism than others. If you have only limited time in SL, Calas Galadhon's  'WHITE CHRISTMAS' is worth a visit or maybe many times over and over again.

Ty Tenk and Truck, owners and creators of  Calas Galadhon, have done a marvelous work in creating a winter wonderland that is filled with activities that you can do this holiday season. The first thing I did was to start snapping my camera after I landed as I knew I was going to share these wonderful moments in this picturesque sim with all my readers. 

Take a sledge around the sim 

Get the FREE skates and have fun skating single or couple

Hop onto a hot air balloon and enjoy the breathtaking view from the sky

Or simply hangout with a good friend and people watch

I am falling in love once again... and his name is Photoshop :D As a blogger, I think the most interesting thing to do is to create a style with the outfits that we have received using accessories, poses and to capture the image as best as we can. At this time of year...

...most places in the northern hemisphere will at some point see the white stuff. Of course most sim designers in SL follows the seasons. One of those must see sim's is Calas Galadhorn "White Christmas" -a spectacular looking sim.  With a visit there to see the sights with a very good friend, I quickly realized I looked somewhat under-dressed. And we cant have our precious pixels catching a case of nippleitis - right?

I went looking for a nice dressy looking jacket, and found this Oasis Jacket in the G I O M E N inworld store. It looks great, perfect for a walk in the snow with a special friend. You can also find G I O M E N on the MP.

It features rich hi-res textures on the jacket and shirt. 10 Exchangeable textures for the jacket and 12 textures for the shirt, which all can be changed via the Oasis Jacket HUD giving several very nice looking combinations. It comes with one alpha for 5 mesh sizes from XS to XL. A Fitted mesh size and of course the texture exchange hud is also included.

I'm home this Christmas

It's always good to be home to celebrate Christmas with families and love ones... I am home and ready for a new start once again!

Feel the winter in your SL life

When the first snowflake hits the ground, everything transforms. Trains seize up. Schools close. Everybody gets a day off, even if they work from home. But winter in SL has something whimsical to offer. It's time to celebrate with friends or love ones snuggling up in front of the fireplace, skiing, exploring beautiful winter theme sims and most importantly, wearing beautiful winter clothes.

Tis the season to be jolly

How time flies. Another year has passed and as I was visiting some of the winter sims, a wave of nostalgia swept over me. I couldn't help but smiled to some sweet memories while letting the cold wind take away the sad ones that flowed down my warm cheeks.

Christmas is a season to be jolly and I am thankful for the friends who have stood by me. An occassional hello, tp and a smile is enough to make my day. I am sure many of you are now out shopping with your friends and perhaps stealing snapshots together at some beautiful sims that you have chanced upon. I did 3 pictures with a good friend, Pramod, with the new poses from Agapee at my place. 

I have done up my little land with a winter theme and there are some nice corners that you could to do your pictures in. All are welcome and I do wish that you will add me to your flickr or fb if you do take some pictures there. :D   

Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truely merry Christmas. Merry Christmas my friends :D
