You are my Spring

Spring is a wonderful time of the year where everything seems to come alive again after months of dull weather. That's what I always hear Scott say but from where I come from, the pace of life is way too fast. I wouldn't mind slowing down for a couple of months or even to hibernate in some winter places. :D

So, before I snapped back to the crazy RL lifestyle, I would love to grab the hands of my sweetheart and go for a walk in the SL April sun.

Scott and I took to Devil's Point for this shoot. I'm wearing a new release from Lybra. It's very versatile with separate top with plunging neckline and a flirty skirt, which you can wear it as a set or separately. Both skirt and top are HUD controlled with 8 different textures. I found my matching accessories and heals from Loordes of London and the short summer hair from Dura just complete my look for the day.

I look to you

Another shoot I did at Stuttgart. It's really a picturesque sim with many places for fantastic pictures. As a blogger, I am always on the look out for places. I am totally amazed at the creativity of these sim owners and how they could put together an idea and make it a 'reality'. One plus point is that you can rezz  your stuff at Stuttgart. However, do remember to pack up before you leave.. :D

Today, I am wearing this Uriel outfit from Masoom. If you are a fan of Masoom like me, you are growing to love her more and more... Amber, the owner and designer of Masoom is getting her hands on original meshes nowadays. What I adore about her creations, beside the originality, is that most of her outfits come with a texture hud so we are not likely to be seen with the same outfit any time.

To accessorise, I found Loordes of London one of the best choices. I love the details in all her accessories and if you cam closer you can even see the diamonds around the watch strap. You can also set the time to your own time zone and I love that so much since I always get all mixed up with the time in SL.

SL fashion Trends

SL fashion has always been a manifestation of RL fashion. However, of late, RL fashion brands are using SL designers for their creations from SL. Angela Jarman's (Violaine Villota in SL) Fancy Fairy wings have found their way to the runway of Victoria's Secret's fashion shows. This trend can be very encouraging for SL designers whom I see are becoming more creative and realistic in their creations.

I love mesh and I am elated to see that some designers are including colour or texture changing hud to their creations. For us shoppers, this trend allows us to be more creative too in our styling at no extra cost.

ghee is one of the designers whom I am seeing more texture changing hud in their newer collections. One of which can be found at FAD Fashion Event that opens its door on May 28. You can find ghee's Portia blouse and skirt in 6 different colours which you can easily mix and match. Their Portia Leather Bag and Heels are material enabled and unrigged mesh that come with texture hud and resizer. 

I am also seeing more rl looking skin such as this Debbie skin from 7 Deadly s{K}ins at the  Event @ 1st.  It is a perfect summer skin tone if you love a little freckles on the cheek.

There is so much going on at 7 Deadly s{K}ins right now.  IT'S THEIR 2ND ANNIVERSARY! Having been their blogger for over a year, I have seen how 7 Deadly s{K}ins grows over time. It all started with just a nice little store with few skins. Over the recent months, to cater to the Mesh craze in SL, all major appliers, Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, TMP, Banned, Lena, Tango, Phatazz and Wowmeh are now available at the Mainstore.

Though it was a new brand just 2 years ago, I could see the potential and was always enjoying wearing their skins all the time. There is a realistic feel to its skins and many a time, I get the compliment when I am wearing them. 

A little about Izara Zuta, the owner and creator of 7 Deadly s{K}ins. Izara is a RL Graphic Designer who takes pride in every of her creation. All her skins, shapes and makeup are hand drawn by her and thus their original content is guaranteed. Having to compete with the bigger brands in SL, Izara works very hard over the last 2 years creating new skins every other weeks.
