Absolute zero ~ Chouchou

It was Thursday night when I logged into SL and felt alone for a while. I checked through the LMs in my inventory and decided to visit Chouchou which has been around for many years. The tranquillity and placid environment are what I love most about the sim. The original soothing music has a calming effect on me and sometimes, I would stay in the sim listening to the music while working on my blog posts. If you are into architecture, you will also like the buildings created especially for Chouchou.

Near to the landing area, you can get the Chouchou cinematic HUD for free. You'll feel like you're in a cinema completely soaked in the world of Chouchou just by wearing this HUD. An experience you will only get at Chouchou. 

A month ago, due to RL, the owners of Chouchou wanted to give up the sim. However, many SL residents pleaded LL to take it into Second Life Region Preservation Society which Patch Linden finally agreed and managed to save Chouchou.

I found a very nice photography sim recently. 

At Backdrop City, you can choose from the various scenes, backgrounds and objects to perfectly tell the story through your camera. Best of all, you are given rezzed right if you join their inworld group. The group is FREE and there is no lag at the sim. :)

Dancing in the moonlight

The August Round theme at SWANK this month is Around The World. Sascha's Design took the challenge and has delivered in spades with this gorgeous South American inspired gown. The name of it is Calpurnia Caracas and she has really captured the colorful capital of Venezuela with this dress. 

This gorgeous mermaid flare gown is flattering to the figure that gives a sensual feel to it. The bustier top follows the curves of the body perfectly before it cascades out into a wonderful skirt just above the knees.

Don't let the sun go down on me

I just love my summer dresses. They are so simple and light, yet stylish and with a hint of flirt. I immediately fell in love with Sascha's Designs' Poppy Dresses the moment Sascha so generously passed me a copy of her latest designs 3 days ago. There is an extensive collection of textures via the included HUD that gives you the look you desire for any occasion and for your favorite accessories you want to style with this dress.

It was not difficult to convince Scott to join me in this picture since he is off from his editorial work this week. Scott is dressed in the Pebble shirt and pants from LUXE Paris that he picked up during the Swank July Event.

So we put together a set using props from Kaerri.

This is one fun picture that I did with Scott. It is interesting to talk about how we want to capture the mood in the picture and what windlight and effect we want to get out of it. 

Scott has been a wonderful friend, PS mentor and boyfriend since we met last December. We enjoy working on our blog, photographs and now, we are making poses using AnyPose. We can't wait to share with all of you the poses that we are working on.. :D

In this picture, I am wearing Sascha's Designs' Poppy dress. It's a lovely little summer dress that you will see me wearing in RL too .... Omega Compatible Gown

Nancee Gown is the new release from Sascha's Designs. It comes in 6 different colours and the option of 2 different tops and 3 skirts, a glove and a fur bolero for a more formal touch to the elegant bustier gown. Best of all, they are omega compatible. 

How omega works:

If you have a Maitreya Mesh Body Lara, wear your Maitreya Mesh body, attach the "Omega Applier Relay for Maitreya" AND wear and use your Omega Applier that comes with your outfit. Make sure the Relay stays attached when you wear your applier. 

If you have a Belleza Mesh Body, wear your Belleza Mesh body, attach the "Omega System Installer - Belleza", click the installer, and verify the mesh thanks you in local. Your mesh will now respond to Omega.

A lazy afternoon

In preparation for fall and the gorgeous, cozy fall outfit, boots are my preferred footwear.
